Front Row Center is a delicious, savory journey through the world of idolatry, illicit affairs and intrigue. It is pure fun and fantasy...a wonderful read.   The characters are well-rounded and believable. The reader can easily deposit themselves into the lives of the characters at anytime along the journey.  The plot is gripping and moves swiftly. I was riveted to the very last word.  I can’t give too much of the plot away but will simply say it is a must read - you will not be disappointed. Bring on the sequel, please!!!

Hi Cynthia,
Yes, I did receive my copy, I am loving it. It reads better than a Danielle Steel book. I will write you when I am finished. You should give up nursing and just keep turning out great books!!
Janie (Kopp)

Hi Cynthia I’ve just finished reading front row center and I love, love, love it! It’s just how a book should be, made me laugh and cry -- perfect! Everyone should read this; if they don’t-- they don’t know what they’re missing! Of course, being a fan of Barry’s helps—but, I could identify with all of it so much--loved it!
Take care,

Hi Cynthia,

Wanted to let you know that your book was waiting for me when I got home yesterday evening.  I can't believe it got here that fast.

… I put your book onto my laptop and started reading.  When I finished chapter 4, I realized that the hour was about up, and I had to force myself to stop reading.

I'm really enjoying it so far, and I think it will be even harder to stop reading as I get farther in.  So, I'll have to choose my opportunities carefully.

Gotta go.  I think I'll try to get a chapter in before bedtime!

Hi,

Thought I'd let you know that I'm still enthralled with your book and finding it increasingly difficult to put down.  (This WOULD have to be my busiest time of year at work!)

…I have high hopes for Paris.  That's where I'm leaving them tonight.

Judy (Wilde)

Hi Cynthia,

Well, I just finished!  And right now I only have three comments -

WOW !!

I loved it!

Thank you!

And by the way - how soon is that next one going to be ready?

Cynthia,

I'm back from Vegas… Read in the room and on the plane and I must tell you, I can't put the book down!!!  Up to Chapter 11 now and I feel as though I am a character in the story.  Larry is sooo very HOT!  Reminds me of someone we know.    Love the way you named the songs he performs - I recognize every one of them… want to congratulate you on an awesome story so far!  ...  Will write more as time goes on.  Love the steamy dance number!!!

Cynthia,

Front Row Center is a wonderful story for any Barry Manilow fan (or fans of other artists), who fantasize about being "the one" Barry discovers in the audience, and Barry chooses to want to get to know on a more personal level. Throughout the book you wrote about Barry's wonderful traits that we fans love him for.

In the beginning I found myself changing the character’s names from Larry to Barry and Joe to Marc. However, within a couple of pages I allowed myself to get lost in the story you were creating and stopped trying to correlate the characters to the people in Barry’s real life.

There were times during the book that I found myself on edge and eagerly waiting to see what would happen next. You brought out so many emotions in me. Here are several examples:

I loved the drama that Linda caused…

…Many women, myself included, would love to have the kind of romance and attention that both Paul & Larry bestowed on Taylor throughout the entire book.

Oh, I forgot to mention, every time Larry sang “Lost In The Feeling” my mind automatically went off on a tangent and sang “Somewhere In The Night”! One of my favorite parts is when Barry sings, “And I lie and watch you sleeping. And you smile, when you dream about the night, like it’s a secret you’ve been keeping.” I hear the smile in his voice when he sings that and I get a sly smile myself.

Cynthia, your book made me feel, just like Barry’s music does. I cannot wait to read your sequel and find out how/why Taylor disappeared and why Larry is looking for her. Count me in for another purchase! I'm  glad Barry became your inspiration to become an author as you have quite a gift!

Respectfully,
Linda Austin

CYNTHIA,

WELL, I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THE SEQUEL...MY BIG QUESTION IS, HOW DID SHE CAME UP MISSING IN THE FIRST PLACE? BUT, GUESS I WILL FIND OUT WHEN I START READING IT.....YOU ARE A VERY TALENTED WRITER...DO YOU HAVE ANY SHORT STORIES YOU CAN POST ???
OK, I AM FINISHED!!!! !!!!!!!!! !! OMG, THAT WAS A GREAT READ...I AM NOT MUCH OF A READER AND A BOOK HAS TO HOLD MY INTEREST BIG TIME FOR ME TO FINISH IT, AND THIS ONE CERTAINLY DID.....I WAS WRONG ON MY GUESS...LOL. ...WOULD NEVER HAVE THOUGHT OF THAT PERSON.....I WAS IN TEARS BOTH OF JOY AND PAIN.....CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE...BUT, IT SOUNDS LIKE THINGS WENT WRONG SOMEWHERE... ...HOPE IT ALL ENDS THE WAY THIS ONE DID...LOL

Hi Cynthia
Just wanted to thank you! After reading about your success as a writer has given me the courage to get back to my writing.

I started writing romance novels a couple of years ago, mainly because I used to
read books and think 'I could do that!' but never had the courage to let anyone
read them.

… Just wanted to say you gave me the kick i needed to write again.
Wish you all the best!

Cynthia,

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my e-mail!

It was so interesting hearing how you named your characters…

I'm thrilled to hear that you're writing the sequel to Front Row Center!  I'll definitely be in line to buy it when it comes out and can't wait to read a couple pages of it at the end of Front Row Center!...  When I'm reading a great book, there's not much more exciting than knowing that there are HUNDREDS of pages to be read!  I never want it to end!  The bad thing about reading a great book is that it's hard to find another great one to follow it up with.  Do you know what I mean?...

I also am grateful I took a chance with the e-book.  I wasn't sure how I was
going to read it…I figured I'd come up with an option, though, and my Kindle has been GREAT!  I take it with me everywhere I go, so I can read whenever I have a chance.  I love it!

I'll look forward to listening to the 1st chapter of the audio book.  Who does the audio?  I can't wait to hear pieces of the songs you wrote/co-wrote!  How exciting!  A lyricist as well as an author!...  It must have been fun working with your friend, Mark on this project.  Thanks for sending it to me!

…Wow - it's getting hot!  Larry just left Taylor in her hotel room and they have plans to have breakfast together the next day.  Hmmmm. . . maybe I'll go read a bit right now while my Brisket is cooking. . .   Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Love,
Laura Ackerman

You go for it---Don't let anyone or thing
stand in your way---Great talented one!

You ROCK--We are very proud of YOU!!!
